  桑德森这一部塑造人物的能力比上一部大有进步，至少几个主角都还不错，詹更是很有潜力，但是剧情杀死得太早，可惜了。世界构建仍然一比吊糟，整本书实际上就是围绕一件事情进行：陆沙德围城战，但是全书里没有一个字讲陆沙德这个城市的地形是什么样子，是否靠山靠海靠河，有多少人，城市是否在坡上，城区是怎么分布的。当然，看到最后就知道这个攻城战根本不重要，重要的是最后的那个反转。从这个角度来看，桑德森写的其实是轻小说，没有世界，只有舞台和舞台上那几个人。

  此书明确了薛宝琨的师承——刘宝瑞弟子。2/3后都是附录，增订本注水严重，且严重暴露著者短板：用传统老套的文学手法赏析相声文本，却提炼不出其内在构造包袱的逻辑技术，且斥其为文化传统之外的附着物；文化保守主义，矛头直指杨义笑林冯巩，最后让俗不可耐的郭德纲啪啪打脸：为了弘扬相声地位，一个劲儿地拿外国文论往相声上贴，在不触及幽默内核的情况下，尤其不伦不类；对相声文本及表演者的评价固化为定论，缺少与时俱进的体认，对其意义的阐发引申就显得僵直滞涩…好在2/3的史论部分由于著者活跃年代，能有颇多一手资料和真切体悟，尚有可观者。惜乎薛老先生一走，连能这么写相声批评的也没有了…

  The strusture and the thinking were mentioned in the book for many times. That makes sense because you could never ignore those 2 points when you are doing business related to ideas and methodologies, such as PR, AD or Legislation.

  　　

  BTW, The introduction of this book is informative, so if you don't have much time to read it thoroughly, you might get the information mostly via reading the introduction seriously.
