  从婴儿开始对孩子行为进行解读，不过纸覆盖到2岁左右。基本上都是直接上论题和结论，却没有论据，有些观点不敢苟同，容易踩坑，谨慎参考。

   《南方周末》的长期读者可能都知道文化记者王寅。不过在记者之前，王寅已经先是一个诗人了。关于一个诗人的气质在王寅的访谈中不时显露，这使得这些语言和文字不再只是公式化地问、听和记录，而更成为一种有来有往的对话。

   这本访谈录是王寅以《南方周末》记者的身份对十六位海内外艺术家的采访录。它关于艺术的观念和实践，关于生活的理想和追求，也关于自由的选择和表达。

   当然，在打开这本书前，我们就应该想到，艺术家之所以成为艺术家，自然有他们区别于芸芸的思考与表达方式。让人印象深刻的，比如林怀民对舞台尽真尽善尽美的执念、朱德庸对“扭曲”所下的“这是落后的代价”的评论、黑川纪章对缺乏远见的建筑的批评……这里面出场的人，都有一点“务虚”情结；而来自不同的行当的他们成了“家”而非“匠”，或多或少与那点“虚”有点关系。

   从根本上来说，这本访谈录是一个诗人与诗人之间的对话录，而它的价值就在于我们总有一些时候会觉得自己的生活太实在了，难免缺了些诗意。

   PS：后记里，王寅说，把这些访谈汇编成书，恰恰也是来自另一位女诗人翟永明的建议，所以，我把这本书看成是“诗人对诗人”的结果，大概也未尝不可。
