  居然是首评？好吧，大概从头到尾翻了一下，只有五卷，没有医学、化学、炼金相关的内容，有点失望。总的来说还是比较学术化，书中提到的那些科技发明的解读很细致，一部合格的工具书。空下来再慢慢研究吧。

  看到《1小时读懂世界》这个名字，就产生了一种一定要读一读这本书的想法。我们对世界从来都有许多想法，每一次视线所及都是我们对世界的一次探索，但却从来都不知道真正的世界是什么样子。世界这个说法太抽象，而抽象的东西一向都难以被人琢磨透彻，它就像是蒙了一层纱布，在我们以为要看清楚的时候，倏忽远去，又变得神秘莫测，引人生出无限的追逐之情。

  那世界是什么样子的呢？

  

  翻开这本书之前我以为书中会有一个明确的答案，翻开这本书的时候我又迷惑了，然而看完之后我找到了一个属于我自己的答案。

  咋一看这本书的内容，会有一种疑惑，这本书难道不该是一本“1小时读懂宇宙”吗？

  开篇就讲宇宙，接着又拉进距离讲了太阳系、地球，整本书一大半的篇幅都在为我们讲述宇宙的诞生，以及各种各样的星系、星球的物理数据和地理特点，恍惚间我以为我回到了高中的课堂上，正在学习物理学和地理学的知识。只是与教科书不同的是，这本书里面讲了很多官方教材不会涉及到的知识点，比如说各种卫星名称的由来，还有对世界末日场景的预测等等。这些曾经被学校课堂拒之门外的东西读起来俏皮可爱，又让人恍然大悟，原来我们曾经开过玩笑的卫星名称的由来竟然是这样的啊，而世界末日原来也不是我们天马行空的想象，原来曾经玛雅人预言的2012只是太阳黑子活动的一个峰值，下一次的峰值或许就在不久之后到来。

  

  如果说《1小时读懂世界》的前半程看起来像在学习物理和地理，那后半程则被生物、历史、数学包圆了。各种熟悉的专业名词，一瞬间就让人回忆起了曾经被高考支配的恐惧，最后面的数学公式集锦又让人仿佛回到了小学背公式的时候。一切都是那么熟悉，熟悉中又透着一点点新奇，毕竟离开学校好多年之后再看看这些内容，多少都会让人产生些怀念之情。

  但这毕竟不是教科书，而是一本实打实的科普书。教科书只会告诉我们哪些是考点，然后时不时做一些有助于学生身心成长的删减，最终呈现给我们的世界永远都是是一片祥和盛景。实际上的世界有成长，有消亡，更有持续不断的破坏和无数有志之士奋不顾身的补救。我们经常说，“同一个世界，同一个梦想。”或许这个梦想应该是让我们的世界绚丽多彩，并持续健康的发展下去。

  

  看到最后会发现《1小时读懂世界》这个名字并不是随便起的，没有什么名字会比“读懂世界”更适合了。包含了各种历史由来，以及世界组成物的详情特点的这本书，如果不用“世界”这个浩瀚的名词命名那就太可惜了，简直没有比这个名字更适合的呢！

  就像封面语形容的那样：

  从宇宙到人体，让我们一起探索包罗万象的世界。

  如果想要了解世界，不妨读一读这本书。如果想要读懂世界，那就更要读一读这本书。

  Adjective like new/large/round/wooden are fact adjectives. They tell us factual information about age,size,colour etc.

  Adjective like nice/beautiful are opinion adjectives. They tell us somebody thinks of something or somebody.

  Opinion adjectives usually go before fact adjectives.

  Often we use quite with a positive idea and rather with a negative idea:

  She's quite intelligent but rather lazy.

  When we use rather with positive word, it means'unusually' or 'surprisingly'.

  These oranges are rather nice. Where did you get them?

  Ann didn't like the book but I thought it was rather interesting.
