  晚上看了本小说《乱世》，大半年看的几十部小说中，它不能称之为最好，但绝对是最为印象深刻的一本，去健身房跑了半个小时，都没缓解它给我带来的震撼与兴奋。豆瓣只有48人评分，百度都不好找得到简介，绝对是本宝藏啊。当然，也需要一定的知识储备，书中提到的内容有不少完全没听说过，何况还夹杂半白话，不知道过几年再翻出来读，会有怎样的阅读体验？

  7/10 最宝贵的是作者自己的迷思和对每个答案的反诘，恰恰是对目前最流行最新奇科技前沿展望之“基于人的困惑”，在每一个对科技发展都信心百倍或忧心忡忡的AI书籍之中，恰恰这种个人性的见解，是最独特的。

  The first time I came to know of Ken Robinson was by listening to one of his TED talks. The wit and insights in that speech were not only hilarious but also thought-provoking. After searching for and listening to several of his other addresses on education, I decided to go further and read his books, "Out of Our Minds" is one of the first.

  All children are born creative and they get educated out of creativity by the current system which has been designed mainly to fit the need of industrialism. To meet the challenges laid before us, we have to rethink, revise and eventually revolutionize our current model of education. The arts, dance, music or humanities should be considered at least as important as the STEM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), if not more. Children's natural talents should be valued, developed and fulfilled so as to create a diverse and dynamic society in which all of us can benefit enormously.

  That basically summarizes the gist of this title. The crafted words from Mr. Robinson, both spoken or written, have such a formidable power that you can't help but will be impressed upon and feel motivated. The same and simple principles that go through the whole book consistently are expressed in various and different formats, interspersed with anecdotes and quips. In this respect, "Out of Our Minds" can proudly serve as a great textbook for writing class as well. That being said, it also negatively affects the reading experience due to repetition and not least the frequent citing of other people's studies and the same old stories that most people are very familiar with.

  Overall, the content of this book is satisfactory, providing an overview of the education system and offering some possible solutions to our current situation. If you are interested in education and creativity and intrigued by the subject, go for it.
