STEVEN M. BRAGG, CPA, has been the chief
financial officer or controller of four companies, as well as a
consulting manager at Ernst & Young and an auditor at Deloitte
& Touche. He received a master's degree in finance from Bentley
College, an MBA from Babson College, and a bachelor's degree in
economics from the University of Maine. He is also the author of
Accounting Best Practices, Sixth Edition and Cost
Reduction Analysis: Tools and Strategies, both published by
Wiley.

这么好的一本书啊竟然没有人评论过。。。极其全面的分析了作为IRO的职责以及对面临的各种问题的解决方案。非常好的一本书。那个词怎么说来着?醍醐灌顶啊。

很不错的一本书,偏向实务操作。可惜的地方是作者主要以美国市场为基础,没有怎么多谈英国资本市场,不过这可以理解的。

奇怪豆瓣怎么都还没有这本书的评论,那我来写一个。
三个月前看完了第一遍,一直没写评论是因为觉得有好些部分还需要进一步的咀嚼。最近这周百忙之中重点复看了几章,结合实际的工作,觉得真是很有用处。
这本书成书就在一年前(2010年8月),书中的内容还是非常新的,描述到的具体事例以及背景常识也就不会令人感到陌生遥远。对于我这样的新手来说是一本极好的工具书,且由于IR本身存在与PR重叠的部分,读起来也不会令人感觉枯燥。
作者用认真严谨的讲解了从IR部门负责人的角度出发,如何在投资者和公司之间建立健全有效的沟通机制,双向的将彼此了解的关键信息反映给对方,最终实现公司股价长期实现优势增长。这个目标说起来只有一两句话,实施起来却是对内对外一个漫长的协调沟通的过程。
不过这本书有一个阅读前提,即读者是了解IR这个功能是从CFO的工作职能下分裂出来的——在许多的公司,IR这个功能在企业早期一直是有CFO负责,如:向投资者编绘公司的故事等,在时机成熟后将具体执行事务交由IR Manager处理。据我自己的了解,目前国内在美上市的企业编制的IR,年纪都很轻,大致也是这样的原因。不过每家公司的具体情况不同,应一事一议。
我在这里摘取所有章节的名称如下,供大家参考,在决定是否买一本来学习的时候,先从大标题了解下IR:

当然,对于从业者来说,这本书只是一个起点,更多的知识还需要在日常的工作中不断的细心积累,才能不掉队啊~
