  向前辈致敬：以一己之力编写出如此皇皇巨著，光是想象就已经让人惶恐不已了。然而，时代局限性还是存在的：首先，用法规则基本上是作者自己所见，一己之力总有局限，并且缺乏大量语料作根据；其次，英语是变化很快的语言，当时的用法与现在的有相当大的据别；再次，一些规则缺乏应有的总结性，略散乱。

  先说句题外话，前两周在一次课题讨论会上第一次见到孙老师。比我想象中的要年轻许多（可能雷兴山老师的满头白发让我对考古的老师们形成了刻板的印象，hhh）。彼时还在读这本书（从寒假开始读……），书没读完先见到作者，这种感觉很奇妙。

  我对书中详细讨论考古的内容完全不感兴趣，太专业了，离我感兴趣的内容有点儿远。中间好些章节是跳着读的。庆幸当初在博雅堂犹豫了一下，没有买，要不肯定会后悔（三联的书一向不便宜）。但前半部分讨论三代历史分期和最后附录谈及考古学史的内容确实是有干货的。

  这本书副标题叫“夏代信史的考古学重建”，读完全书，窃以为这个工作依然没有完成。

  我跟孙老师在如何看待夏代是否存在的立场观点基本一致，更倾向于“信古”而非“疑古”。但除了文献上的证据，考古学真的有足够的出土证据证实夏代存在吗？我是存疑的。

  起码这本书不足以解答我的疑惑。

          这书名让我想起了《天佑鲍比》里：鲍比说：“我不是个完美的小孩，我已经很努力了，妈妈”。

       我们总是试图去做别人眼中的好孩子，让父母骄傲，邻居夸奖，老师喜欢。可是却忘了我们的本性是什么。做一个随性的自我，是多么的不容易。
