  本书的结构简易鲜明，开篇便提出“职场沟通的核心是受人尊重和信任，保持适当距离”，之后围绕打造合适沟通距离的基本方法、避免距离过近的技巧、避免距离过远的技巧三部分，层层递进，深入解读，让我们在一个个小情景剧式的对话交流中，亲身感悟到合理沟通的力量。虽然书中给出的一些方法和技巧，在现实操作中并不容易拿捏好度，但总体来讲作者还是很中肯地抓住职场沟通的一些细节和易忽略的点，给出我们一系列十分受用的解决办法。例如聆听，作者表示要合理把握好听和说的比例，以“三分说，七分听”为宜，聆听过程中不要打断对方，聆听结束后要顺应对方的情绪给予安慰和合理化建议，这便是日常沟通中我们经常容易忽略的地方，不少人经常是听到对方倾诉苦衷的过程中，不由自主地反客为主打断对方发表自己的观点，令对方既尴尬又苦恼。再例如作者认为不要轻易向对方表示感同身受的话，每个人都是独特的个体，面对不同的遭遇都会有不同的心理波动，自以为是的去表达对对方的理解，经常是适得其反，这一点或许会令我们对“同理心”的概念有新的认知。还有保持“横向沟通”和“对事不对人”，一旦情绪上头，不少人都会忽略这些看似简单平实的原则，有意无意回避自己的责任，给予对方不客观的评价，令沟通瞬间陷入僵局。上述种种，作者都以一位亲身经历过的职场前辈身份，对我们进行谆谆教诲，提醒我们避免踩到职场沟通的“坑”，十分受用。

  书中令我感触最深的两点：一是作者提出的DESC沟通法，暨：客观描述、主观表达、合理建议、替代方案。该方法可以运用到几乎一切职场沟通场景中，通过循序渐进、全面真实地表达自己的感情和态度，既不会令人感到强制性、情绪化的压迫，又会令人感受到自己坚决的态度和清晰的逻辑。二是愤怒是一种二级情感，在沟通中一旦遭遇观点不一，想要爆发的时候，想到这一观点，立刻把二级情绪降为一级情绪，用“失望”、“寂寞”、“担忧”这类委婉表达自己的真实感情，或借口如厕去平复下自己的心情，都可以很快调节好自己的状态，继续展开轻松友好的对话，真正把沟通变成一场“无限游戏”。三是面对自己不喜欢或力不从心的要求，勇敢又不失优雅地用“谢谢，但是....”表达拒绝，既阐明了自己的真实态度，又令对方感到受尊重，一举两得。当然，这样做的前提是强大的内心建设，不会因为拒绝了对方的要求而瞻前顾后担心未来，要提前准备好拒绝对方后自己必须承担的责任。
