越过房子，还看得到大海。那是一条长长的暗蓝色的彩带，仿佛墨水画出来的细线，紧贴着天边。

硕大而荒凉的园子，占据了整个山顶。除了那头有一簇肮脏的老月桂树丛以外，偌大的园子里，就只有一棵从来不结果的老桃树。没有秋千，没有跷跷板，而且，两个姨妈压根不请别的孩子到山上来跟可怜的小詹姆斯玩耍，就连跟他做伴的狗儿猫儿都没有。时光一天一天过去，小詹姆斯也越来越伤心，越来越孤独。每天，他在园子尽头站上好几个钟头，热切地望着那边的世界，森林、田野和大海就仿佛展现在脚下的神奇的魔毯，可亲可爱，他却不能上前去。

一切的一切，都发生在盛夏好似火烤的一天里。

海绵团姨妈开了腔：

我像玫瑰那样美来那样香！

我的鼻子样儿好，

脸蛋儿把你眼睛来犒赏！

我一头青丝赛天仙，

脱下袜子你再看，

脚趾个个真漂亮。这时大头钉姨妈说了话：

你的肚子滚滚圆，

这件事儿可别忘！

海绵团姨妈红了脸。大头钉姨妈还不让：

亲爱的，你可比不上我漂亮。

瞧！我的身材有线条，

牙齿一露叫人神往！

哦，我多么美，

多么欣赏自己焕发的容光！

但别在乎我脸上那些脓疮。

海绵团姨妈大声嚷：

我亲爱的老鲑鱼，

你除了皮包骨头没分量。

我长得这么美貌和端庄，

到了好莱坞才能真正闪出光。

海绵团姨妈接着说：

哦，这可是好事一大桩！

全国的人心都叫我俘虏，

所有的角色都由我上场。

明星们也全都会退让。大头钉姨妈接了茬儿：

依我看，演个鬼怪倒相当。

“我有好多条腿，”蜈蚣自豪地回答道，“就有好多只脚啊。说得准确一点儿，有一百只脚哪。”

“瞧，他又来这一套了。”蚯蚓第一次喊叫起来，“说到腿，他非撒谎不成！说什么一百条腿，他没有那么多！他好像只有四十二条腿。问题是，人们不耐烦去数它们，只是听信他说的话。不管怎么说，你蜈蚣也晓得，有好多条腿，根本没有什么了不起的。”

詹姆斯觉得，自己宁可喜欢蜈蚣。显然，他是个无赖，可时不时地听到他的笑声，也可变换变换心情。跟海绵团姨妈和大头钉姨妈住在一起时，他就从来没有听到她们大笑过。

  这是一本在我最低谷的时候让我重见阳光的书，更让我改变了对自己的认知，改变了看待这个世界的观念，看到了自己的不足与种种妄念，也教给了我如何用自己的正念与善意获得社会的善意回馈的方法，从而达到开悟，也促进自己心理的成长和成熟。这本书是我向周围有类似问题朋友最为推荐的一本书，即使自觉没有心理问题的人，看看这本书也能获益良多。

  一开始会感觉兰总实在聪明，后来发现是所读的（英文）书籍和paper比较多，接触的视野不同于我类同龄人罢了。不少文章值得一读，包括第三辑《逻辑与因果》、《顽固的脑壳》和《撞开那扇门》。Anyway，过几天找他要签名。。

        很有趣的童话，虽然是烂俗的大冒险题材，不过勇敢机智的James、腹黑的蚯蚓、爱惹麻烦的蜈蚣、娴静优雅的瓢虫，邪恶危险的云人，ROALD DAHL凭借天马星空的想象力与大胆的笔画，为我们描绘从英格兰到纽约，骑桃跨越大西洋的壮举。最后童年不幸的James和同伴们在美国的幸福结局，让我觉得本书是美国移民时期的注脚。在19世纪至20世纪初的100余年自由移民时期，失意的人们怀着各自的梦想,从世界各地重新起航，远涉重洋，聚集到这片理想的土地，开创新的生活。所以说正是移民浪潮造就了今天的美国的成就。

  开始对读童话还有所抗拒，不过在阅读过程中发现，只要读进去，找到快乐与静谧，就不会再觉得幼稚。常怀包容之心，和柔静默。
