intellectuals, among them Jean-Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir,

actors. We meet Christian Dior, who taught Karnow the secrets of

haute couture, and Prince Curnonsky, France's leading gourmet, who

taught the young reporter to appreciate the complexities of haute

cuisine. Karnow takes us to marathon murder trials in musty

courtrooms, accompanies a group of tipsy wine connoisseurs on a

tour of the Beaujolais vineyards, and recalls the famous automobile

race at Le Mans when a catastrophic accident killed more than

eighty spectators. Back in Paris, Karnow hung out with visiting

celebrities like Ernest Hemingway, Orson Welles, and Audrey

  2017年已读097：三星半，个人感觉不如《动物集》 ，虽然表现内容更为丰富，但却少了《动物集》的灵光频现。所谓“寓言”，即是用一个虚构的荒诞世界来映射现实，并蕴含讽刺于其中，“口无所臧否，而心有所褒贬”。最喜欢《铁路扳道工》，有几篇过于直白，而少了几分蕴藉之美，且讽喻的内容如今看来已太过陈旧。

  叙1916-1924年中国政局，自洪宪帝制失败至第二次直奉战争。前半部集中描写张勋复辟，比较热闹好看；复辟失败后文气便散了，只有溥仪大婚、曹锟贿选几个片段较细腻，其他都是无趣的流水账。

      大二下了的第二个大作业是大师作品分析。说来惭愧做设计这么久都没有看过什么像样的书，甚至连建筑师都认识的甚少。小组合作选出了路易斯.I.康的费舍住宅，由于费舍的材料真的很少，为了能尽自己所能我买了这本书。

      

      这是我第一本自己买的专业书吧。开始看的时候很无语，本来想偷懒看看书里面有没有费舍住宅的分析，结果翻遍了全书只找到芝麻绿豆大的小说明。根本没有什么作用。

      没有办法，我只有大致的翻看的大体内容。逮到什么建筑一些想法就套用下来。可能是专业性知识翻译的原因，很多地方很晦涩，很难懂，但是跳过了去很容易朝着相反的方向理解，甚至完全不知所云。

      所以我决定看上第三遍。第三遍看的时候我正在负责立面的CAD和模型的搭建。时间很紧，只能挑一些中要的章节精读，沉下心来看路易斯.I.康设计的一些理论、实际的运用以及设计特点。竟能让我这个没有建筑没有什么认识的人有所感悟。

      经过实践搭建和书本的理论同时进行的时候，理解也快了很多。因为费舍是比较晚期的作品，路易斯.I.康的设计趋向于成熟，同时秩序规则在其中有了很重要的体现。

      但是这本日本人的著作，在有些介绍、知识和别的书是有相出入的地方，有的地方又感觉到一家之言的气场比较强。有些地方确实生硬的翻译过来有些牵强，还需好好揣摩揣摩。

      总的来说这本书从包装到里面的内容时候很好的。价格相对来所有点小贵，但是如果静下心好好读一读真的有很好的启迪作用。
