  8.0。本书较为全面地梳理了我国几千年来器物、雕塑、书画、建筑等不同领域的艺术发展脉络，这是一大优点。但不足之处是在有限的篇幅中对每个领域的介绍都不够深入。就拿我自己比较了解的书法方面来说，没有涉及魏碑、唐楷、清朝碑学运动等书法史上的重要发展阶段，显得有些蜻蜓点水。
