平日里读多了仿佛机器合成或者满是“隐微写作”的文章,对学术已经有点厌恶了,读到这样的书才有种“解除学术写作的封印,跳出个鲜活的灵魂”的感觉。虽然由于地域差异很多记忆中的美食略有区别,但是,一边跟着作者的回忆和“冒险”,一边也想起自己本科时候的“苏皖边境油焖茄子考察团”“扶墙进扶墙出”的烤肉自助比赛,想起研究生时候的“追寻螺蛳粉之旅”,以及“为了一杯幽兰拿铁留在长沙”的人生历程。

没有实践的读书果然是枯燥啊,除了在书中发现一些早年学过的东西,但也全忘了,而且接受不了这种写法,明明可以更简单易懂的!难道我最高智商的时候已经一去不返。。。

这个写作水平...功底太糟糕了。鲜少有看传记那么累的。看开头第一章险些认为自己看的是言情小说,第二章开始就是盲目引用,把能找到的史料直接堆砌成文,为了能把蒙古和大宋的关系说明白,上一段还在写忽必烈如何如何,下一段马上跳到大宋国内如何如何,缺乏连贯性,看的力不从心。

易读性和趣味性结合得非常不错的一本书。虽然看起来受众是儿童,但是其实让自己也产生很多思考,对于工作、对于财富、对于思维。一法通,万法通,推荐阅读。

教高中,所以买来一读,中秋花了整整两天读完,感慨良多。大陆除了少数一些顶尖的高中外,大部分的学校都很少关注高中生的全面,多元发展,也很少有机会请来知名学者、教授给高中生做讲座,但大量的事实表明,在各行各业取得辉煌成就的人,往往在高中阶段就有领先于同龄人的开阔眼界、活跃思维,甚至已经开始小试牛刀。所以高中生应该读一读这样的书,早一点了解自己、社会和世界有好处,而且作者是美国理工科博士毕业,现在在台湾最好的大学里教文科,他谈的文理文科、选专业、出国留学是很有借鉴意义的。
